• West Instruments, established in 1946, was one of the first companies to make microprocessor based temperature controllers. West launched the first multi-loop controller system combining the integrity of a discrete controller with the benefits of a fieldbus network. To meet customer requests West was the first to incorporate true plug ‘n play output boards on DIN controllers eliminating the use of link jumpers in its Plus Series line of controllers.  Recently West launched the innovative ProVU series, wher the main features are the real text display, Ethernet communications, and a built-in data-logger facility.
