COOKIES: WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS FOR OUR USERS?
Our website uses cookies, as almost all websites do, to help us provide the best possible browsing experience for our users. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer or smartphone while you browse.
Our Cookie Policy aims to describe in a clear and transparent manner the types of cookies used, with regard to the processing of personal data of users who consult it and who use the services offered pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) Privacy 2016/679 (‘GDPR’) and pursuant to the Provision of the Privacy Supervisory Authority ‘Identification of simplified procedures for the disclosure and acquisition of consent for the use of cookies’ of 8 May 2014, as well as the subsequent ‘Clarifications regarding the implementation of the legislation on cookies’ of 5 June 2015, and the ‘Guidelines on the processing of personal data for online profiling’ of 19 March 2015).
In addition to the technological tool provided and the related Consent Banner, it is also possible to deny authorisation for the installation of profiling cookies by modifying the settings of the browser in use, as better illustrated in the paragraph below, ‘To disable cookies’.
We use technical and other third-party cookies to enable users to browse more efficiently and improve their browsing experience. Third-party cookies are set by a website other than the one you are currently visiting.
Cookies help us to:
• Ensuring the website functions as intended;
• Improve site speed/security;
• Continuously improving our website for you;
• Suggest promotional content tailored to your preferences.
You can find out more about all the cookies we use below.

TECHNICAL COOKIES
Technical cookies are used solely for the purpose of ‘carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or as strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide that service’.
Technical cookies are divided into various types:
• Session cookies allow the website to link the user’s actions during a browser session, such as moving from one page to another, allowing for faster navigation or preventing the user from returning to the homepage when a request has already been sent or when navigating within the reserved area.
• Functionality cookies are used to store preferences set by the user during navigation and to facilitate the use of certain services, such as language settings or video viewing.
• Analytical Cookies: this is a web analysis service provided by a third party that uses a cookie that is stored on the user’s computer and allows us to understand how visitors interact with us.
We use the anonymisation function for the IP addresses of users who visit the website, so that they cannot be identified by Google.
Implementing this Google Analytics setting allows you to anonymise the IP address by setting the value 0 to replace the terminal part of the IP (the last octet in the case of IPv4 addresses and the last 80 bits of IPv6 addresses).
User IP address                       Anonymised IP address
125.31.214.144    ——————————–>   125.31.214.0
This anonymisation process takes place when the data is transmitted to Google’s systems, so that the data is stored and subsequently processed without Google ever writing the full IP address.
If this procedure is not implemented, Google reserves the right to collect user identification data and process it for its own and other purposes, such as offering targeted promotional content. In addition, the sharing of information with Google and its partners has been blocked.
Therefore, considering that data processing is completely anonymous both on our part and on the part of the Third Party, it is not necessary to request specific consent from users, nor to notify the Privacy Supervisory Authority of such processing.

THIRD-PARTY COOKIES
We also use third-party cookies to provide you with a better browsing experience, including:
• Cookies that track browsing behaviour to generate leads from potential customers;
• Advertising cookies are widely used in online advertising. We also advertise our business through advertisements on social networks (such as Facebook) and various websites (such as Google and its partners), as well as through positioning campaigns on major search engines. Each sponsored advertisement consists of several elements: a title, an image, a descriptive text and a link that directs the user to the website and/or its landing page (by way of example, but not limited to). These advertising campaigns offer promotional advertisements targeted at an audience defined by certain parameters and based on the interests they have expressed while browsing social networks, search engines, and other websites outside our website and/or landing page. These advertising tools (promotional banners, sponsored ads, etc.) will direct leads (potential customers with probable interest) to our website and/or landing page when clicked, allowing us to offer our products and/or services and collect personal information and other data through our data collection form, which is essential for the selling proposition;
• Conversion tracking cookies allow us to monitor the performance of advertising and positioning campaigns aimed at promoting our business and to know, specifically, how users have interacted (e.g. site visits, quote requests, site registration, etc.). These cookies allow us to improve our advertising campaigns and invest in what is most effective and interesting for users. In any case, it is not possible to associate conversion data with individual user data; only overall statistical information and anonymous, aggregated data on the performance of advertisements can be consulted.
You can learn more about online advertising at www.youronlinechoices.com. You can opt out of almost all advertising cookies at https://www.youronlinechoices.com/ie/your-ad-choices. Privacy implications vary from social network to social network and depend on the privacy settings you have chosen. The management of information collected by ‘Third Parties’ is governed by their respective privacy policies, which we invite you to consult.
