CD Automation:
Advanced solutions for industrial electric power control and thermoregulation

Established in 1987 in Legnano (MI), CD Automation has built a strong reputation over more than three decades as a leading manufacturer of high-performance thyristor power controllers for precise process control across diverse industrial automation sectors.
The presence of two fully-owned foreign offices (Europe and Far East), and a global network of subsidiaries and reference partners, allows the company to guarantee international coverage and excellent technical support in electrical load control and thermoregulation.

CD Automation manufactures thyristors equipped with advanced microprocessors and intuitive graphical interfaces that allow simplified configurations, making the products flexible and adaptable to any process requirement.
Our units streamline electrical wiring to optimise control cabinet space, providing solutions that reduce both space requirements and costs, while enhancing overall project efficiency.
They are also equipped with the most widely used communication systems, such as ModBus RTU – ModBus TCP – ProfiNet – Ethernet IP, enabling them to comply with the requirements of Industry 4.0 and 5.0.

Our product line includes single-phase, two-phase, and three-phase models covering currents from 3A to 2100A and voltages from 24Vac to 690Vac. These units are designed to precisely control various load types, including standard ohmic heating elements, medium-wave and short-wave infrared heaters, inductive loads such as transformer primaries, and specialized resistors like Molybdenum Disilicide (MoSi₂) and Silicon Carbide (SiC).
Our solutions include single-zone controllers within the REVO S, REVEX and REVO C product lines, and multi-zone (multi-channel) controllers such as the REVO PC and PN product lines.
These thyristor units also have the ability to synchronise switch-on, optimising power consumption peaks, and keeping consumption and harmonic disturbances within contractual limits, therefore reducing energy costs.

For thermoregulation, CD Automation offers a range of products made available through partnerships with leading companies such as West (Fortive) and Fuji Electric. These include high-performance industrial temperature controllers, both panel and multi-zone and back-of-panel, providing reliable solutions for a wide range of applications.

Our products are used across a wide range of industries and regulation processes, including:

● Automotive, defence, aerospace, and transportation (air, sea, and rail)
● Food and beverage production, including baking applications (pasta, bread, pizza, sweets)
● Manufacturing of glass, ceramics, plastics, rubber, paper, and textiles
● Chemical and pharmaceutical sectors
● Semiconductor and battery manufacturing
● Furnace, kiln, and oven control
● Painting, finishing, and drying processes
● Energy production, renewable energy, waste management, and wastewater treatment
● Building and construction industries, including HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems

Our strength lies in our ability to tailor our products precisely to the specific requirements of various industries. Our technical team works closely with customers, always available to identify optimal solutions for enhancing regulation and control processes.
Also, our strategic partnerships facilitate integrated projects, collaborative design, and joint marketing initiatives, resulting in the creation of innovative and customised solutions.

With CD Automation, innovation, quality, and energy efficiency combine seamlessly to meet the demanding needs of today’s industries.

To ensure uninterrupted production, consistent and timely deliveries, and to mitigate potential disruptions due to global material supply challenges – as experienced during the COVID and post-COVID periods – we have proactively invested in warehouse capacity by maintaining stock levels.
